DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on electrical equipment, making electrical repairs, and performing the repair and installation of electrical panels and related equipment. This will involve repairing and installing primary and secondary wiring, distribution and switchgear equipment, switches, panels, lights, electrical controls and associated equipment from 110V up to 2400V. You will operate medium voltage substations, perform weekly preventive maintenance and test runs on emergency and stand by generators, and work on "hot" electrical systems while using safety equipment. Your work will often require you to read schematic diagrams to determine and resolve electrical system problems.
