DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for performing maintenance on electrical equipment, making electrical repairs, and performing the repair and installation of electrical panels and related equipment. This will involve repairing and installing primary and secondary wiring, distribution and switchgear equipment, switches, panels, lights, electrical controls and associated equipment from 110V up to 2400V. You will operate medium voltage substations, perform weekly preventive maintenance and test runs on emergency and stand by generators, and work on "hot" electrical systems while using safety equipment. Your work will often require you to read schematic diagrams to determine and resolve electrical system problems. You will also make minor repairs to electronic equipment and maintain emergency generators. Additionally, you will repair laundry equipment, as well as install and maintain phone and data lines. Work Schedule and Additional Information: • Full-time employment • Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. • Overtime and travel as needed • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. • You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
