You’ll be responsible for electrical power and controls engineering from scope development through commissioning. You will collaborate closely with PLC technicians, internal engineers, contractors, and OEMs to deliver safe and efficient solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute capital projects ($1M–$40M) on time and within budget. • Review, troubleshoot, and support PLC-based systems (Allen-Bradley). • Interpret and modify electrical schematics and single-line diagrams. • Support FAT/SAT, machine startups, and commissioning activities. • Partner with cross-functional teams on system design and integration. • Oversee contractor work, ensuring safety and quality compliance. • Recommend improvements to enhance system and equipment performance. What We’re Looking For: Must-Have Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar. • (Non-degreed candidates with 10–15 years of relevant experience will be considered.) • 5+ years of hands-on electrical engineering experience in a production, machine-building, or fabrication environment. • Strong knowledge of 3-phase, 480V systems, and experience with automated machinery. • Proficiency in PLC programming (ladder logic – Allen Bradley), schematic interpretation, and electrical system installation.
