This position supports a good standing in the community, sustainable operations, and adheres to and upholds all company policies, safety standards and federal / state regulations.br /p /div/divdiv style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"Roles amp; Responsibilities/H2 /divdivul liInstalling new electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, and electrical components according to blueprints and specifications. /li liPerforming routine inspections, preventative maintenance checks, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical equipment like motors, transformers, control panels, and switchgear. /li liDiagnosing electrical faults and malfunctions using testing equipment to identify the root cause of problems. /li liInterpreting electrical drawings and diagrams to understand the layout and functionality of industrial electrical systems. /li liAdhering to local and national electrical safety codes and regulations. /li liMaintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used. /li liFollowing safety protocols when working with high-voltage equipment and hazardous environments. /li liSkills and qualifications for an industrial electrical technician:/li liStrong understanding of electrical theory, principles of AC/DC circuits, motor controls, and PLC systems. /li liAbility to diagnose electrical issues using various testing tools and techniques. /li liUnderstanding of mechanical systems and how they interact with electrical components. /li liAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. /li liSkillful use of electrical tools like wire strippers, crimpers, multimeters, and voltage testers. /li liCapability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment. /li liMust be able to pass pre-employment screening which may include a physical, background check, and drug screen./li /ul p#INDSS/p pbr span style="font-size:16.0px"bAbilities Skills amp; Knowledge/b/span/p p /p p /p ul liKey knowledge areas include electrical theory, motor controls, power distribution systems, and relevant safety regulations.
