CORE HOURS: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 3:00am SUMMARY The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all end of line test (EOLT) equipment throughout the facility as well as troubleshooting and analyzing tester issues as they arise. The Electrical Maintenance Technician is also responsible for repairing fixtures associated with the test process and other assembly related fixtures. This position will work hand in hand with the Manufacturing Engineers to help implement new products and improve existing processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develops and maintains a working knowledge of the processes, process equipment, and controls. • Develops troubleshooting skills and techniques for the equipment and controls including end of line test equipment. • Disassembles equipment, analyzes cause for failure, and performs repairs; recommends preventative maintenance. • Performs routine and non-routine maintenance tasks on production equipment. • Research and purchases parts and components when necessary. • Utilizes electrical prints and multimeter to perform electrical troubleshooting. • Utilizes our computer maintenance management system to maintain and enter documentation from all work orders. • Assists other Maintenance team members as needed. • Oversees grounds related projects including lighting, pond, lawn and snow removal. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE • High school Diploma/GED. • 5 years Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. • Experience with building trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical and fabrication. • Strong mechanical abilities. • PLC programing experience. • Must have advanced electrical skills/knowledge (i.e. tester wiring). • Ability to operate lathes, mills, and welding/fabrication. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
