The salary range for this role is: $34.98 - $34.98 Responsibilities: • Ability to maintain and upgrade program logic throughout the facility to ensure proper and desired equipment operation as directed by management. • Ability to conduct in-house audit of PLCs and programs to ensure that technological advances are incorporated into processors and data collection devices. • As directed by management work on electrical maintenance and capital projects in a timely and efficient manner to meet set budgets and time constraints. Responsible for the annual requirements of electronic controls for both seamer performance and thermal processing calibration • Coordinates with supervision and management to maintain electrical parts and supplies at distribution center. • Thorough knowledge of electrical controls and maintains necessary equipment at the plant to ensure the site can address a wide range of electrical issues as needed. • Provides key input to management and supervision Provides key input to management and supervision. • Plant electrical maintenance needs for both short term and long-term applications. • Training and / or development needs required to ensure electrical staff develops and improves upon necessary skills relating to a thorough knowledge of principles of electricity, circuitry, and power distribution, and are current in necessary and applicable building codes, and can effectively trouble shoot PLC systems. • Continuously work to develop self and assist in developing electrical staff to the greatest potential relating to learning programming, applications, and the operation of PLC systems. • Supporting the electrical / PLC information level of maintenance crews in all departments. Qualifications: • High School graduate must have completed courses in Basic Electricity, Electricity 1, Electricity 2, Industrial Electricity and troubleshooting, Industrial Instrumentation, PLC Programming and troubleshooting. • Planning, layout, and maintenance of electrical equipment, developing and following electrical blueprints and specifications, working with electrical circuitry, power distribution, and understanding and following the electrical safety code. • Design, Installation, and operation of PLC applications, including ability to fully program and trouble-shoot program application at the direction of management, and capable of supporting plant instrumentation, vision systems, Panel Views, or other HMIs. • Works effectively with management, electrical parts and supply vendors, crew, and contractors to address maintenance, new construction, and both short term and long-term plant development goals. • Responsible for the related communication, documentation, and reporting associated with duties. • Fully supports, facilitates, and assists in the implementation and maintenance of Rochelle’s Continuous Improvement and DMPS activities. • Capability to work independently and efficiently without close supervision. • Ability to work effectively with others, and provide clear, concise, and supportive direction to co-workers and peers. • Support and maintain the Safety processes and ensure compliance with all shop, GMP, Food Safety, and General Safety rules, and regulations. • Requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to safely perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items, with reasonable accommodations. • Must possess and maintain a reliable attendance record. • Assists in performing various seasonal tasks as directed by management. • Performs duties as assigned throughout the operation. • Maintain a clean work area. • Candidate must successfully pass an electrical craft aptitude test WE OFFER: • Competitive salary. • Comprehensive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Maintenance Electrician

Job Title: Maintenance Electrician Job Description This position is responsible for assembling, installation, maintenance, proper orientation, repair, and overhaul of all warehouses, labeling department, building machinery, equipment, safety improvements and additional improvements. Responsibilities • Employee is to ensure compliance with all approved / applicable safety rules and good manufacturing practices. • Repair and install hydraulic system-pumps and flow systems. • Do maintenance wiring, installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, and power circuits. Inspect motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating, and power circuits. • Make preventative and running repairs and corrections. • Do installation, connection, adjustment, and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments. • Perform and follow lock out tag out procedures. • Maintain open communication with supervisors and employees on any changes that may occur while on task. • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. • Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards. Essential Skills • Proficiency in the use of test equipment such as multimeters, clamp on amp meter, and ohm meter. • Ability to read and understand blueprints, circuit diagrams, and ladder logic diagrams. • Strong experience in solid state circuitry and devices, high voltage D.C. rectifier, and control circuits. • Experience with 480V three phase systems. • Ability to troubleshoot equipment controlled by P.C. controllers and mechanical equipment sequencers. • 5-7+ years of Multi-Craft Maintenance Mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to pass a Multi-Craft Aptitude Test (Mechanical and Electrical). Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in troubleshooting panels, VFDs, and power sources. • Ability to re-wire and understand electrical schematics. • Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics. • PLC troubleshooting and electrical troubleshooting expertise. • Any equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered.
