Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Electrician Grade 4MA to join our 2nd shift team. This role involves planning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex electrical systems and equipment, including motors, digital drives, high-voltage circuits, and control panels. The ideal candidate will have extensive electrical experience in an industrial setting, strong troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and continuous learning. Schedule & Compensation • 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM • Base Pay: $37.95/hour • Shift Differential: +$1.50/hour • Overtime: Available as business needs dictate Key Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical motors, drives, and control panels • Troubleshoot electrical issues, including PLC programming and digital drive operations • Maintain and install electrical services for plant lighting, HVAC, and equipment • Perform preventative maintenance and machine changeovers • Maintain the boiler room and calibrate scales/equipment • Complete required paperwork and follow safety procedures (Lockout/Tagout, NFPA70E) • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and process optimizations Required Knowledge & Skills • Electrical Systems: AC/DC circuits (100V, 200V, 480V, 2300V) • PLC & Controls: Familiarity with PLC programming, HMIs, sensors, level controls, and AC/DC drives • Safety & Compliance: Understanding of electrical safety principles and industrial safety regulations • Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently • Technical Proficiency: Experience using SAP CMMS or similar maintenance management systems Physical Requirements & Work Environment • Climbing ladders, working at heights, and balancing on lifts • Lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, crouching, and working in confined spaces • Exposure to high temperatures (120°F+) and cold conditions (below 32°F) • Potential exposure to fumes, solvents, hydraulic oils, and loud noise (PPE provided) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) • Safety shoes, gloves, and glasses • Hearing protection • Respirators (as required for chemical use) If you are a highly skilled Electrician Grade 4MA looking for a 2nd shift opportunity with competitive pay and career advancement potential, apply today! #LI-AS1

Industrial Electrician

Job Title: Industrial Electrician Job Description Plan, layout, and perform all operations related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of complex electrical equipment and circuitry. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electric motors, digital drives, high voltage circuits, and electrical control panels. Responsibilities • Repair and maintain electric 3 phase or single phase motors and replace if needed. • Understand and work with Rockwell PLCs. • Maintain all equipment associated with electric motors, including variable frequency drives (VFDs). • Install and repair various types of electronic equipment, including PLC programs (RS Logix 5000 and GE). • Maintain and install electric services in plant buildings. • Install new equipment: mount fixtures, run conduit, pull wire, and connect wire. • Perform preventive maintenance through work orders on plant equipment. • Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns. • Perform machine changeovers. Essential Skills • Ability to troubleshoot using electrical diagrams or schematics. • Experience in electrically troubleshooting equipment or machinery. • Proficiency in control wiring. • PLC troubleshooting and understanding of ladder logic. • Minimum of 3+ years experience with a solid job history. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Complete understanding of AC/DC current 100, 200, 480, and 2300 V circuitry. • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. • Ability to interpret schematics to troubleshoot both electrically and mechanically. • Experience with electrical measurement devices. • Experience in manufacturing equipment and machinery repair. • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. • Experience with conduit and control panels.
