The City of Johnstown is accepting applications for the position of Electrician/Maintenance. This position requires a working knowledge Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Masonry and General Maintenance. It also requires a basic electrician certificate. This is a 40 hour per week position, applicant must be able to work 2nd and 3rdshift and/or evenings and weekends when necessary. Available for overtime for emergencies, and special events as needed. Applicant must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License, a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class A with Tanker Endorsement, applicable endorsements for the class and type of vehicle operated, a good driving record upon application and pass a required drug screening. Also, must have the ability to obtain a class A CDL within 90 days.
