JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Electrician (Union) Department: Maintenance Supervisor: Maintenance Manager Salary: $22.08 - $24.79 JOB PURPOSE Responsible for assisting in the production process JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY • Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems • Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems • Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components • Exercise critical thinking and problem-solving ability utilizing safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines • Understand electrical schematics • Recordkeeping • Preventative Maintenance Program • Transformer inspections • Infrared panel testing • PLC and VFD drive troubleshooting, updating, programming, etc.… (knowledge of Siemens a plus) • Operation and maintenance on overhead crane (AC and DC) • Must communicate with supervisors and coworkers • Supervising projects while working hands on with team • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Ability to troubleshoot both power wiring and controls • Ability to run rigid conduit and wiring • Knowledge in 13.8 KV, 110v/220v, 480v, 2300v, 25 HZ etc... A/C power and working knowledge of 250 DC power. • Knowledge of 13.8 KV to 120 VAC Breaker Maintenance and upgrade • Electrical preventative maintenance knowledge • Understand pre-use tool inspection and site clean-up post completion MINIMUM REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
