Job Title: Residential Electrician (Experienced Apprentice to Journeyman) Company: Millers Superior Electric Location: Tulsa, OK Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: Millers Superior Electric is seeking motivated and skilled Residential Electricians at varying levels of experience, from experienced apprentices to licensed journeymen, to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in residential settings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical abilities, commitment to safety, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude. Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, lighting, panels, and breakers. • Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and code specifications. • Perform troubleshooting and diagnose electrical problems efficiently and accurately. • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations. • Communicate effectively with homeowners, contractors, inspectors, and team members. • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. • Use company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols. • Participate in ongoing training, safety meetings, and toolbox talks. Qualifications: For Experienced Apprentice: • 2+ years of residential electrical experience. • Enrollment in or completion of a recognized apprenticeship program. • Strong working knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade. • Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). • Ability to take direction and work as part of a team. For Journeyman: • Valid Oklahoma Journeyman Electrician License. • 4+ years of residential electrical experience. • Thorough knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes. • Ability to work independently, lead small crews, and mentor apprentices. • Strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise. Requirements: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or at heights. • Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Willingness to work occasional overtime or emergency calls as needed.
