Job Details: The successful Foreman Electrician will be responsible for leading teams of Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians on a job in order to complete projects on time and under budget; Understanding and instructing your teams on the proper navigation, use, and installation methods outlined in the NEC; and motivating and successfully leading teams of electricians on a project, as well as helping to layout work for those groups to continually learn and advance in a productive environment. Responsibilities: Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following: • Responsible for assembly, installation, maintenance and testing of electrical equipment and wiring systems in commercial, industrial and large multi-family settings. • Prepares work area for installation of equipment for himself and his team. • Installs or helps install electrical components. • Connects wiring and equipment as per code and job specification. • Operates equipment only if trained and certified to operate. (Note: Powder activated tools, and JLG lifts and other operations that may require certification and training before operating). • Sets up and operates tools such as hydraulic benders, power threaders, power pullers and cable vacuum systems. • Able to read blueprints and electrical drawings and install and lay out as specified. • Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances per drawings or plans. • Secure and lock up equipment after use. • Journeyman Trade Certification in a related Construction trade will be considered highly desirable. • A proven track record of delivering safe projects on schedule and within budget. • Excellent working knowledge of the Building Codes. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Requirements: Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain. Wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses at all times), respirator when required. Able to work 8 -10 hours per day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts. Includes crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects is required. Repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers. Electrical Designer LOCATION | Tulsa, OK or Bentonville, AR REPORTS TO | Director of Electrical Engineering TEAM | Electrical Engineering POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our engineering team at Cyntergy. In this role, you will leverage your power and lighting design experience and technical expertise to create comprehensive electrical designs for a variety of projects. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that designs meet both functional and compliance standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Develop and produce drawings for building’s lighting, power and electrical distribution systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations. • Perform lighting and power engineering calculations. • Design electrical systems in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs. • Support the procurement process by evaluating and specifying appropriate materials and equipment for new electrical infrastructure and reviewing vendor proposals. • Adhere to project schedules, budgets and scope of work. • Maintain a positive and professional work environment.
