Overview We are seeking a skilled Contractor to join our team, responsible for overseeing and executing various construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills and experience, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes. Responsibilities • Manage all phases of construction projects from planning to completion. • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. • Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. • Perform various construction tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and concrete finishing. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks such as framing, drywall installation, roofing, and flooring installation. • Ensure quality control by inspecting work performed by subcontractors and making necessary adjustments. • Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours. • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project status. Skills • Proficiency in Bluebeam for project management and documentation. • Strong background in construction management and estimating. • Experience in construction inspection to ensure adherence to building codes. • Knowledge of plumbing systems and electrical installations. • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. • Skills in concrete forming, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, roofing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, heavy equipment operation, restoration work, hardscape installation, glass installation, cabinet installation, frame carpentry, door hanging, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, welding techniques, and masonry work. • Proven experience in remodeling projects.
