Represents the company in a professional manner. Keeps supervisor informed as required / needed. Ensures wasted resources are minimized & company assets are protected. Arrives as scheduled / ready to work and ensures the same of crew. Works effectively as a team member, abiding by chain of command, and following BGCI Company Policy & Procedures. Primary Duties • Demonstrates quality in all work • Utilizes proper lifting techniques • Initiates all work as scheduled & with available materials. • Supervise laborer to ensure safe work practices and appropriate task assignments • Maintains own tools for job and uses the right tool for right job • Uses proper start / stop / clean up procedures • Erects / Installs CIP ad or precast concrete panels. • Completes layout / frames metal & wood, applies wood & cement to siding of buildings, efficiently / effectively • Installs windows, doors, hardware, cabinets, trim and is a competent carpenter, efficiently / effectively Qualifications • Understands the duties of a carpenter, with 2-3 years of verifiable experience. • Understands utilization and maintenance of all PPE Equipment. • Able to understand and read Architectural & Engineering plans. • Understand and is proficient in the erection of scaffolding systems. • Aware of different means & methods of construction About Baldwin Baldwin General Contracting is an Oregon based, full-service contractor with broad experience serving both public – and private – sector clients.
