You will contribute to New Life Service Co. success by assisting the construction team to achieve business results while fulfilling our mission. Key Responsibilities: As a Journeyman Carpenter, your duties will include: • Customer Service: Deliver excellent customer service and high • Construction & Installation: Construct, install, and repair structures such as frameworks, walls, cabinetry, and other wooden fixtures. • Material Handling: Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials with precision using hand and power tools. • Structural Integrity: Inspect and replace damaged structures or fixtures, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations. • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution. • Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines. Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates should possess: • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field. • Skills: Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials; ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Licensing: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
