We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Construction Specialist to join our team. This role requires broad experience across major construction trades, including carpentry, concrete, masonry, tile, drywall, and more. The Construction Specialist will be responsible for performing high-quality work across various project phases, assisting with on-site coordination, and ensuring adherence to building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications. This position plays a critical role in delivering successful construction outcomes on residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities: • Perform skilled work in multiple trades including: • Carpentry: framing, rough and finish work • Concrete: formwork, pouring, finishing, and repair • Masonry: block, brick, and stone work • Tile Installation: floor, wall, backsplash, and waterproofing • Drywall: hanging, taping, mudding, and texturing • Painting and Finishing • Plumbing and Electrical (basic support tasks) • Roofing and insulation installation • Hardscape and landscape elements such as pavers, retaining walls, and turf • Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical drawings. • Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and code compliance. • Install fixtures, materials, and finishes according to design specs and safety standards. • Use a wide variety of tools and equipment safely and efficiently. • Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. • Support estimating, material take-offs, and site preparation as needed. • Document progress, report issues, and assist with punch lists and final inspections. Job Requirements: • Experience in Construction or a combination of major trades. • Strong working knowledge of: • Building codes and OSHA safety standards • Tools, techniques, and materials related to the listed trades • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. • Ability to work independently or with a crew in fast-paced environments. • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
