Essential Responsibilities & Duties: • Develop an understanding of and proficiency in using basic hand tools commonly utilized in carpentry and finishing work. • Read and comprehend measurements on a tape measure accurately, ensuring precise and accurate cuts and installations. • Measure and cut drywall sheets to the required dimensions based on client specifications and project requirements. • Attach the drywall sheets securely to wall studs or metal frames, employing appropriate techniques and fastening methods. • Assist in the installation of drywall, ensuring proper alignment, levelness, and smoothness for a high-quality finish. • Learn and follow established safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others. • Collaborate with experienced team members, absorbing knowledge and techniques to enhance carpentry and finishing skills. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored and maintained. • Demonstrate an attitude of continuous improvement, seeking opportunities to refine skills and increase efficiency in carpentry and finishing tasks.
