Job Overview Carpentry, Crawlspace & Attic Prep work Technician Responsibilities • Installing ventilation ducting for fans, ventilation baffles at eaves, foam sealing thermal boundaries, installing barriers around heat-producing fixtures in attic spaces. • Working as a carpenter, constructing, installing, and repairing mechanical ventilation, attic hatch dams made from wood and other materials, weatherstripping doors, caulking windows • Installing pipe insulation, installing vapor barriers, sealing duct systems in crawlspaces of existing homes • Utilize hand tools effectively for various tasks while maintaining safety protocols. • Collaborate with other team members on the construction site to ensure timely completion of projects. Qualifications • Proven experience in construction or a related field will determine pay. • Strong skills in carpentry and use of hand tools. • Ability to read spec manuals accurately and follow detailed instructions. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. • Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy materials, working in tight, hot/cold and uncomfortable conditions.
