Job Summary: The Building Repair Technician is based in Mt. Airy, NC, with operations in the U.S., and has overall responsibility for performing maintenance and repair tasks on storage sheds manufactured by Leonard. This position reports directly to the Manager, Repairs & Maintenance, and does not have direct reports. Job Responsibilities: • Travels to company and customer locations to repair portable sheds as assigned. • Performs routine maintenance tasks and repairs on storage sheds including replacement of damaged components, fixing leaks, and repairing structural damage. • Conducts regular inspections of storage sheds to identify potential issues and ensure they meet quality standards. • Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with storage sheds. • Understands the root cause of structural problems and determines the best solutions. • Communicates with customers to understand their repair needs, provides updates on repair progress, and ensures their satisfaction with the repair work. • Follows all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. • Uses personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintains a clean and organized workspace.
