Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced "Hands On with Tools" Lead to join our team and drive excellence in our construction and restoration projects. As a Lead , you will be at the forefront of Working & managing complex projects, coordinating skilled trades, and ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities • Lead all phases of construction and restoration projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety protocols. • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution from start to finish. • Supervise additional skilled trades including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, masonry, roofing, siding, drywall installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, plastering, caulking, stucco application, rebar installation, concrete forming, metal stud framing, fabrication and assembly. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. • Manage on-site activities such as heavy lifting, material handling with hand tools and power tools, heavy machinery operation when necessary. • Ensure quality control by inspecting work for compliance with industry standards and client expectations; address any issues promptly. • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular site inspections. • Document project progress through detailed reports including incident logs and completion checklists. • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members to develop their skills across various trades including water damage restoration, mold remediation, fixture installation, remodeling and manufacturing processes. Requirements • Proven experience in construction estimating alongside hands-on experience in carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry or related trades. • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. • Extensive construction site experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship in roofing, siding, drywall installation or remodeling projects. • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in various construction tasks including caulking, plastering or tile laying. • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining physical stamina throughout demanding workdays. • Familiarity with safety regulations governing construction sites; commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. • Experience with fixture installation such as cabinetry or doors; capable of working with metal studs or wood framing as needed. • Knowledge of electrical systems or plumbing is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued. • Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams and understanding client needs effectively. • Certification or experience in High End restoration and/or New construction is preferred.
