Position Description Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wooden structures, such as concrete forms, scaffolds, tunnel and sewer supports, and temporary frame shelters, according to sketches, blueprints, or oral instructions. These duties are to be performed in a safe and timely manner with the highest quality possible. Job Responsibilities • Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete. • Builds platforms, barriers and hand rails. • Covers floor openings and holes with plywood and guard rails. • Builds boxes or crates around equipment for shipment. • Cuts scaffolding boards and toe kick plates. • Manufactures signs, information boards, fences, barricades. • Constructs temporary enclosures and work benches.
