General Requirements: • Valid Virginia driver’s license • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check • Willingness to travel locally for day projects (Roanoke and surrounding areas) • Availability for occasional evening or weekend work • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude • Ability to read plans, use tools safely, and work efficiently Preferred Qualifications: • 3+ years of carpentry experience. • Knowledge of framing, trim, cabinetry, or general building practices. • Ability to lead crews and coordinate with project managers. Carpenter / Remodeler

osition Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cabinet fabrication, cabinet installation, residential and commercial carpentry, framing, and remodeling. This position requires technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities • Fabricate and assemble custom commercial and residential cabinetry according to design specifications. • Install cabinets, doors, trim, and other fixtures with accuracy and professionalism. • Perform structural and finish carpentry work including framing, remodeling, and renovations. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans. • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery. • Ensure all projects meet high-quality standards and are completed on schedule. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite in compliance with OSHA standards. • Work collaboratively with team members, contractors, and supervisors to deliver outstanding results. Requirements & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical training preferred. • 3+ years of carpentry experience, with proven skills in cabinetry, framing, and remodeling. • Strong knowledge of wood materials, construction methods, and carpentry techniques. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Skilled in the use of woodworking equipment, hand tools, and power tools. • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and craftsmanship. • Physically able to lift materials (up to 50 lbs), stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Certifications (a plus, but not required) • OSHA 10/30 Certification in Construction Safety. • NCCER Carpentry Certification or equivalent. • First Aid/CPR Certification. • Forklift or heavy equipment certification (if applicable).
