Qualifications • Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. • Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience performing general construction activities in a commercial, industrial or healthcare setting, required. Minimum of four years of experience performing general maintenance in a health care facility or similar work environment, preferred. • Additional Skills (required): Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Ability to successfully apply customer satisfaction standards. Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand and power tools used in facility maintenance. Ability to interact with individuals of all cultures and levels of authority. Valid driver’s license required. Certification/s or thorough knowledge of the principles of design, construction and renovations in various types of trade skills to include framing, drywall, millwork, doors and door-locks, flooring, and ceiling installations. • Additional Skills (preferred): Certification/s or thorough knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, fire codes, and The Joint Commission standards for the Environment of Care.
