As you gain experience and demonstrate your dedication, you'll have the chance to take on more responsibilities and grow your career in the construction industry Responsibilities for our Skilled Tradesman include: ● Install cabinets, millwork windows, doors, molding, wood and/or metal framing with precision and attention to detail, Erect scaffolding and ladders to assemble structures above ground levels safely ● Read and execute architectural plans to ensure accurate implementation ● Maintain and organize tools to ensure efficiency and safety on the job site and clean work areas to promote safe working environments for the team ● Maintain clear and open communication with our team and clients (homeowners) to ensure project success ● Follow onsite instructions to meet daily and weekly project goals and ensure the scope of work is completed on time ● Know and understand all plans and specifications for the assigned job and immediately get answers to questions when plans and specifications are unclear. ● Have all the tools at the job site daily that are required for the proper installation of the above-mentioned tasks. ● If requested, supervise all construction work done by subcontractors to ensure conformance with company standards and specifications. ● Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Lead Carpenter or Project Manager. Requirements for our Skilled Tradesman rep include: ● Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction ● High School diploma, GED or equivalent ● Valid Driver's License, hand tools, and a vehicle are required ● Must be a US Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident. ● Bring your own set of carpentry tools to the job.
