The goal is to contribute to the construction and maintenance of strong and long-lasting chemical storage building. A skilled Carpenter with knowledge of various carpentry techniques with responsibility for installation, repairing, finishing and maintaining various structures. Principal Duties and Responsibilities To accurately read blue prints, drawings and take accurate measurements to ensure quality. Work with materials such as sheet rock, sheet metal and insulation. Ability to apply joint compound where drawings require it. Measure, cut and shape sheet rock and insulation. Join materials with nails, screws or adhesives. Complete inspections and conduct repairs if needed. Work on top of ladders and roofs of building structure. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Have a great attitude and willing to grow with the company Diligently follow safe work practices for yourself and team members at all times Must be able to work in a flexible team environment with job rotation as needed Must be able to work overtime as needed Ability to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision Knowledge of measurements using a tape measure.
