Responsibilities Include: • Applying for and tracking building permits to ensure compliance with local regulations. • Coordinating intercompany repair requests and scheduling to minimize downtime. • Generating contracts for select vendors and subcontractors to streamline business relationships. • Procuring lien documents for all jobs requiring building permits to protect company interests. • Preparing and submitting applications, drawings, menus, and checks to relevant authorities for new construction projects. • Contacting subcontractors to verify builder's risk insurance to mitigate potential risks. • Ordering various site amenities and stock items for locations to maintain a well-stocked inventory. • Coordinating material shipments with dispatchers and truckers and receiving and shipments at company warehouses to ensure timely delivery. • Assisting with the renewal of the company's contractor's license to maintain valid certifications. • Providing support to job site supervisors to enhance team performance. • Performing hands-on tasks during new construction and remodels, including sheetrock installation, trim work, fence installation, and landscaping. • Coordinating specific aspects of jobs with vendors and subcontractors to achieve project goals. • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and permit office employees to foster a collaborative environment. • Creating project punch lists to identify areas for improvement. • Developing CAD drawings to visualize project plans. • Providing project estimates to inform business decisions. • Printing and distributing site and building plans to subcontractors to ensure clear communication. • Obtaining estimates from vendors and subcontractors for new construction, repairs, and remodels to negotiate fair prices. • Obtaining temporary and permanent power, water, and sewer orders and coordinating water meter installations to establish essential services.
