Job Description: Your main goal as a Crawlspace Technician/Construction Laborer will be to help solve customers' problems regarding the condition of their crawl space and/or basement. You will be working closely with 1-2 other crew members to address our customers' needs by remediating moisture issues (laying moisture barrier, digging drains, installing dehumidifiers, etc.) and helping to repair structural damage (sistering joists, building drop girders, etc.) in the crawl space and/or basement. What You’ll Do: • Light carpentry • Hauling material • Light plumbing • Light masonry • Tool Inventory/Maintenance Who We’re Looking For: The ideal candidate is someone who ... • Has previous experience with construction and repair (preferred), most notably repairs in the crawlspace, including structural repair (sills, girders, joists, subfloors, piers) and moisture remediation (interior french drains, moisture barriers, dehumidification systems). • Is willing to be flexible in duties from day to day and hour to hour. • Has a Driver’s License, and is able to pass a DMV license check and have reliable transportation to and from work. • Has excellent people skills, professional in their interactions with both customers and coworkers. • Has a strong desire to reach and exceed set goals in all areas of the job. • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.
