Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction principles and be proficient in various carpentry techniques. This role involves working on a variety of projects, including fixture installation, water damage restoration, and general maintenance person tasks. The Carpenter will be responsible for interpreting schematics, assembling components, and ensuring high-quality workmanship in all installations. Responsibilities • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. • Perform fixture installation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety standards. • Assemble wooden structures and frameworks according to design specifications. • Utilize hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing materials. • Conduct water damage restoration tasks to repair and restore affected areas. • Apply caulking and plaster as needed for finishing touches on projects. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site for seamless project execution. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of projects. Experience • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. • Familiarity with various carpentry techniques, including installation and repair work. • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. • Experience with electrical installations is a plus but not mandatory. • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
