Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and be comfortable working on the water at construction sites. This role involves a mix of carpentry, pile driving, and framing. The Carpenter/Laborer will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to high standards. Responsibilities • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. • Work on the water building docks and bulkheads along the Pamlico river • Work off of a 20’ x 50’ barge • We build mostly concrete and vinyl piers and vinyl bulkheads. • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations on the construction site. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Experience • Proven experience as a carpenter or laborer in a construction setting is preferred. • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry tasks. • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
