Job Summary The UGE Laborer/Groundman is a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects. This position requires a high level of physical activity, with tasks including cleaning and preparing construction sites, loading and unloading building materials, operating equipment and machines, and assisting skilled tradesmen with their duties. This role supports the Construction team and works closely with personnel within the department to achieve project objectives. • Clean and prepare the construction site for work, removing debris and potential hazards. • Assist tradesmen in completing their tasks more effectively. • Identify utilities and monitor dig crew activities to prevent utility hits. • Maintain and clean equipment. • Restock trucks with supplies to ensure crews have the necessary tools and resources to complete jobs.
