Typical Duties include but are not limited to: • Perform routine duties as directed by the carpenter while keeping the work area clean and restocking supplies and materials as needed. • Cut pre-marked material or fixtures using civil equipment and power tools under the supervision of carpenters. • Must be safety minded and adhere to all safety policies. • Complete all additional tasks as assigned by supervisor. Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience: • Must have a minimum 1 year of experience in heavy construction with some experience with Symons and gang forms systems. • Must strive to continuously build knowledge and skills. • Listen and get clarification at all times. • Welcome feedback from carpenters. • Must be able to identify hand tools commonly used by carpenters. • Must be able to describe the use of tools. • Must be able to state the general safety rules for operating power tools and the safe use of hand tools.
