Ideal candidates are looking for a full-time commitment and are ready to develop skills! Applicants must have some previous experience in remodeling or construction work. A strong applicant is a professional with some experience and can provide their own equipment. They must be dependable and able to communicate effectively with our team about job status and expected completion dates, as well as with the customer onsite as needed. We provide on-site training to help team members learn and grow on our team. We are looking for full-time individuals with experience or interest in learning in the following areas: - Interior trim work - General handyman skills - Carpentry skills - Cabinet installation - Flooring We prefer someone who is actively or very recently working in a construction field. Applicants should be able to lift up to 80 pounds. Pay is negotiable, based on experience, and there's a lot of room to grow to more projects and hours for a high performer. It's helpful to have basic hand tools available, and Redbird will provide any additional or specialized tools for our projects. What You Will Do: • Installation of doors; drill and set door hardware • Installation of windows • Layout for stairs and common rafters • Read blueprints, utilize appropriate math skills and perform layout • Form and place concrete footings, piers, walls and columns • Pump, place and finish techniques • Placement of concrete, slab on grade and elevated decks • Crane signals and rigging • Effectively communicate and understand both verbal and written instructions • Ability to organize, sequence and perform assigned tasks within schedule What You Will Bring: • High school diploma or equivalent • Minimum of five years’ experience in construction • Candidates must have reliable transportation • Be willing to work within a 50-mile radius • Be able to work in a variety of seasonal and weather conditions We build where we live, and it shows.
