Mechanical Technician

The Mechanical Technician ensures proper preventive maintenance is completed on critical and auxiliary machinery associated with 24/7 pellet manufacturing. This typically involves a meticulous adherence to approved procedures, identification and documentation of specification equipment, and submission for follow-on inspection/corrective maintenance as applicable. Driving continuous improvement of the lubrication and associated preventive program is included with support provided by the company. Responsibilities • Performs preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and servicing of mobile equipment to improve equipment reliability consistent with Enviva’s OEMS (Operational Excellence Management System). • Provides regular maintenance of hydraulics, lubrication, of mechanical equipment; demonstrates understanding of types of lubricants and application. • Read and follow technical diagrams and schematics. • Adhere to all plant environmental, health and safety guidelines, policies and practice. • Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting and or problem-solving activities to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime. • Work with the operations group to increase reliability while improving plant performance. • Must be willing to complete training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva. • Must be able to work safely obeying OSHA and Enviva safety standards. Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to obtain GED within first 6 months of employment. • Experience with computerized maintenance management or manual systems required • Strong verbal and written skills • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office; Excel, Word, Outlook • Our plants operate 24x7. Must be willing and able to work twelve (12) hour shifts, to include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. Preferred Qualifications - What Will Set You Apart • Experience with vibration analysis and precision alignment a plus • Experience with repairing/troubleshooting gearboxes or mechanical drive systems Working Conditions • Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees  • Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment  • Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment. Physical Requirements • Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day • Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery • Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs. • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Sr Mechanical Manager

Job Description Job Summary Manages the quality repair of rail cars and inspections of rail cars for defects and unsafe conditions within a train yard and on the line-of-road. Ensures work is performed safely according to CSX Transportation (CSXT) safety rules and is compliant with Association of American Railroads (AAR) standards and Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) regulations. Effectively manages best practices in safety, quality, and production. Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement within assigned area of responsibility. Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Description The Manager of Manufacturing Engineering will lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers responsible for driving process improvements, equipment reliability, and production efficiency across Fiber Glass Systems Tank Manufacturing facilities. This role is a hands-on leader focused on coaching engineers, executing improvement projects, and partnering closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and Design Engineering to strengthen plant performance. While the role currently centers on managing the Manufacturing Engineering team, it has the potential to expand to include additional technical groups as the organization evolves. This position also ensures that all manufacturing engineering activities comply with NOV FGS Global Quality Procedures (GQP-series), Work Instructions (GWI-series), and relevant product standards such as API 15HR/15LR/15S and ASME RTP-1. The incumbent is accountable for maintaining documented processes, records, and change control in accordance with GQP-08 (Documents & Records Control) and for supporting internal and external audits (GQP-02). Although this position is posted to be based out of Houston, It could be based out of any of our existing tank manufacturing locations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership & Development • Directly manage a team of 7 Manufacturing Engineers (with plans to grow to 9) supporting multiple manufacturing sites. • Provide leadership, guidance, and technical direction to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. • Conduct performance reviews, develop skill-building plans, and mentor engineers to expand their technical and leadership capabilities. • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and continuous improvement-focused culture aligned with NOV's values. • Define and communicate each engineer's quality and compliance responsibilities per GQP-02 to ensure competency and awareness of FGS QMS and product requirements. Process Improvement & Standardization • Lead and coordinate improvement initiatives focused on throughput, quality, and cost reduction. • Oversee development and optimization of processes, standard work, tooling, and documentation across sites. • Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven problem-solving techniques to reduce waste and variability. • Promote consistency through One FGS initiatives-driving alignment in manufacturing standards, quality, and data governance. • Ensure new or modified processes undergo Risk Assessment and Management of Change review per GQP-04 before implementation. • Ensure project documentation, approvals, and record retention follow QMS document control requirements (GQP-08). Technical Oversight & Support • Provide guidance to engineers in troubleshooting equipment and process issues, collaborating with Maintenance and Production teams. • Ensure all equipment and processes meet safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance requirements. • Support integration of new technology, automation, and equipment upgrades. • Coordinate ERP and PLM data accuracy (Teamcenter, Omega), ensuring BOMs, routings, and time standards are properly maintained. • Verify all manufacturing and testing processes conform to applicable standards (API, ASME RTP-1, internal GWI). • Approve process and tooling changes, test plans, and work instructions impacting production quality. • Halt production or shipments when quality or safety is compromised. • Approve and release corrective action responses within the department. • Authorize MOC initiation for process or equipment changes. Project & Capital Management • Manage departmental projects from concept through implementation, ensuring cost, scope, and schedule compliance. • Support or lead capital project scoping, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning. • Collaborate with site operations and engineering teams to deliver projects that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Budget & Resource Planning • Support development of the Manufacturing Engineering budget and monitor spend on projects, tooling, and capital. • Identify cost improvement opportunities through process optimization, equipment reliability, and waste reduction. Quality & Compliance • Ensure compliance with all applicable NOV FGS procedures (GQP series) and standards (API 15HR/15LR/15S, ASME RTP-1). • Maintain control of all departmental documents, drawings, and records per GQP-08. • Participate in internal/external audits (GQP-02) and close corrective actions within defined timelines (GQP-03). • Support identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks affecting product quality or delivery (GQP-04). • Ensure all personnel under supervision are trained, competent, and qualified for assigned tasks. • Report and escalate non-conformances, product deviations, or safety concerns immediately. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (or related discipline). • 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, including 3-5 years in a leadership or project management role. • Proven track record in leading cross-functional improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment. • Experience with composites manufacturing or related industries preferred. • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis methodologies. • Working knowledge of ERP and PLM systems (Teamcenter, Omega, or equivalent). • Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across levels.
