Manufacturing Professional Fitzgerald, GA | $14.00 / Hour We are seeking a skilled manufacturing professional with expertise in machine operation to join our team in Fitzgerald, Georgia. Responsibilities include: • Fabricating and shaping parts such as tools and machine components from metal • Setting up and troubleshooting machines • Collaborating with engineers and production staff to resolve machining or assembly issues • Maintaining daily machine cleanliness and adhering to preventative maintenance standards • Responding to work order requests in a timely manner • Working in a team environment to meet production goals • Selecting, aligning, securing, and removing holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials into machines • Recognizing, deploying, and properly using inserts, fixtures, and tooling • Evaluating, changing, or modifying job setups • Complying with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions Requirements include: • A high school diploma or equivalent • At least 2 years of experience in machinist roles preferred • CNC, wire EDM, and CAD knowledge is desirable • Proficiency in operating manual machine shop equipment (lathes, mills, drill presses, etc.) • Strong knowledge of reading and creating parts from prints and using measuring tools and instruments • Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills • High confidence in machining abilities • Excellent communication skills • Ability to utilize and adhere to ISO requirements and safety procedures • Positive attitude towards colleagues • Physical ability to bend, reach, stoop, and maintain general agility • Clean criminal record and clean drug screen • Effective time management and prioritization skills • Capacity to work well with others and independently • Strong attention to detail • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
