Industrial Mechanical Technician

Job Description Summary The Industrial Mechanical Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and improvement of system-controlled robotics, machine tools and equipment. Job Description Essential Responsibilities • As the Industrial Mechanical Technician, you will: • Identify and evaluate the condition of equipment and determine strategy to repair and rebuild • Own preventative maintenance and extensive repairs; diagnose problems, plan and complete work required, identify and order parts • Maintain and modify machine tools, conveyors, process equipment, facilities including spindles, pumps, motors, guarding, drives, bearings, lead screws including lubrication fluids and coolant • Apply knowledge of components, devices and equipment used in industrial equipment applications and the related mechanics including various machine tools, measurement devices, lathes Requirements • Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Discipline OR High School Diploma/GED with a Military Machinist Training Course ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: • Ability and willingness to work off shifts and weekends • Ability and willingness to work 2nd shift (3:00 PM to 11:00 PM) or 3rd shift (11:00 PM to 7:00 AM) Desired Characteristics: • Minimum 3 years work experience in Manufacturing Facility in a technical maintenance role • Strong mechanical and hydraulic fundamental and safety knowledge (schematics, precision measurement tools, LOTO) The base pay range for this position is $31.33 to $35.96 per hour with a $5.28 per hour transition adder.
