Design Engineer - RF Connectors

Mechanical Engineer – RF Connectors Onsite - Fulltime Are you a Mechanical Engineer with RF Connector Experience? If so, we have an exciting opportunity that involves “firsthand” development and design of connector products for our Cryogenic, Quantum Computing and Test and Measurement markets. Our client is seeking a RF Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of RF and Microwave connector applications with our growing electronics business. Your primary responsibility for this role will be performing design activities to develop, evaluate, maintain, and improve RF connector designs that meet customer application requirements. You will share these exciting challenges with Engineering team members as well as with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing personnel to evaluate customer needs and optimize design options to balance performance and cost. The scope of this role includes providing engineering assistance, problem resolution, training, and other engineering duties in support of various aspects of production. This dynamic role involves identifying and initiating designs of a complex nature. This individual will utilize AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar 3-D design software tools to help implement, calculate, analyze, test, and evaluate designs necessary for successful completion and development. Many of the Mechanical Engineering activities involve “firsthand” development and initiative to work independently. This role requires a strong desire to learn and apply engineering principles to transition designs from conception to final production. Job Qualifications: • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). • Product design experience including the use of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar 2D/3D design software. • Proven, seasoned Mechanical Engineer with 5 years of RF and Microwave connector design experience. • Demonstration of microwave connector designs above 40 GHz. • Demonstration of designs covering standard and innovative materials for bodies, contacts, and insulators. • Demonstration of designs for standard and innovative manufacturing and assembly processes. • Appreciation and experience in collaborating closely with electrical engineers on new designs and trouble-shooting legacy designs. • Solid grasp of mechanical design influences on electrical performance and overcoming electrical obstacles through innovative mechanical design solutions. • Thorough understanding of quality principles and experience supporting product quality. • Experience working with ISO9001-2015. • Generate reports of completed work for release to program/design teams, management, and customers • Willing to perform hands-on work in a lab environment and provide necessary tools and instructions in assuring that all RF/Microwave testing areas are operating properly • Grounded in methodical design development procedures with good habits for project documentation and validation.

HVAC Technician / Mechanic / Installer

USA Mechanical is currently seeking an experienced and licensed commercial HVAC Technician with a valid D-2 or S-2 CT license, EPA certification and an OSHA 10 certificate to help service our growing commercial (no residential) account base. Project manager/Project engineer

The Project Manager / Project Engineer is a critical member of the engineering team. This candidate will be responsible for managing projects through their entirety, communicating with the customer, working with the internal Forum teams including production, tooling & quality to drive a successful project. Purpose • To ensure that all customer requirements are met with regard to communication, project management, tool design, manufacturing, quality and delivery for projects & tooling. • To develop and maintain good working relationships with all of the customers and vendors of Forum Plastics LLC. • To work with the management of Forum Plastics LLC to seek new customers and supportive vendors that will aid our quest to grow our company. • To provide support for all Quality activities for Forum Plastics LLC. • To implement the company’s Quality Policy and ensure that the requirements of ISO 13485-2016 and other applicable industry standards are maintained. • Drive continuous improvement activities throughout the organization. Responsibilities/authority • Direct customer communication regarding project / project status / delivery / qualification requirements. • Review mold and tool designs to improve quality of manufacturing results. • Review designs for new tooling, customer change notices, gages, fixtures, and jigs. • Facilitate the timely completion of all new mold construction projects and ensure established timelines are met. • Aid in the development and implement manufacturing / engineering programs to improve overall operations. Job duties Major • Project Management for customer new tooling / products from inception thru to production realization. • Facilitate meetings with customers to review project status & mold designs. • Prepare documentation for quote packages. • Conduct Design for Molding (DFM) for new inquiries. • Manage qualification projects by working closely with QA. • Develop and maintain a high level of communication with all departments within Forum Plastics LLC. • Assist the selection, ordering and implementation of new equipment, and facilities improvements as required. • Provide inputs for cost and feasibility for new mold construction as required. Minor • Support the Molding Technicians with timely ordering of supplies and components as needed. • Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvements for molding, tooling, printing and all other manufacturing operations. Education: • 4-year degree in Engineering required Experience: • Experience in Manufacturing or Engineering Environment a plus. • Experience in molding / process engineering related to precision injection molded parts a plus. • Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes related to medical devices a plus. • Strong knowledge of safety procedures and policies. Knowledge of OSHA practices desirable. • Spanish speaking, reading, and writing bilingual ability a plus. • SolidWorks proficiency desired. • Microsoft Office skills required (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook). • Project Management experience desired. 5 years preferred. • Experience in Medical Device manufacturing & Qualification a plus.
