Role Summary As the Engineer, you will provide top-quality hospitality services for guests that contribute to an overall exceptional experience from arrival through departure and complete audits, as required. The Engineer contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform tasks to the highest standards. The Specifics -Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel, ensuring all equipment and systems operate efficiently. -Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest concerns, delivering service with professionalism and a hospitality-focused attitude. -Conduct regular inspections of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems to identify issues and perform preventative maintenance. -Assist in monitoring and maintaining HVAC, lighting, elevators, and other building systems. -Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the engineering shop, tools, and equipment. -Coordinate with other departments to resolve maintenance-related issues and support operational needs. -Maintain accurate records of repairs, work performed, and parts used. -Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and local regulations. -Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures as directed. -The ability to lift heavy objects over 45 lbs. -Adhere accurately to health and safety rules. -Adapt to guests’ needs and provide maintenance assistance that enhances their stay. -Assist other departments, as necessary. -Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way. -Must have an upbeat and positive attitude.
