Senior Systems Assembler

Job Overview: As a Final Assembly Technician II, you will play a crucial role in the assembly and testing of Medium Unmanned Arial System products. The primary responsibility involves integrating purchased assemblies with internally manufactured components, utilizing work order systems to ensure accurate completion. Key aspects of this position include working with LRIP teams and Engineering to determine optimal placement of new components, optimizing wiring and layout for proper center of gravity, and ensuring high-quality cosmetics of the finished product. A collaborative effort with Flight Ops and CQIP teams is essential for incorporating lessons learned and fostering continuous improvement of products and processes. Responsibilities: • Primary duty entails mechanical assembly of subassemblies using hand and power tools, including some soldering requirements. • Final assembly of ground control equipment and air vehicles. • Testing and troubleshooting of subassemblies and final assemblies. • Collaboration with Production Technicians and Engineers to correct and improve upon assembly process documents. • Working with manufacturing engineers to enhance assembly efficiency, improve product quality, reduce costs, and validate released documentation. • Ensuring adherence to work order protocols and completing paperwork as tasks are performed. • Mentoring other technicians to build products or follow established assembly processes. • Conducting in-process quality checks to maintain high-quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements: • High School diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or production environment, preferably in electronics or electro-mechanical assembly and test. • Proficiency in using hand tools, crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics preferred. • Manual dexterity and basic computer operation skills required. • Strong communication skills and analytical abilities to interpret instructions and solve problems. Additional Qualifications & Competencies: • Vocational training in Electronics or Solder Certification desirable. • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing methodologies beneficial. • Knowledge of Safety and ESD practices appreciated. • Ability to work with engineering on new product development efforts where documentation may not be finalized. • Team-oriented individual with strong initiative and drive to meet goals and objectives.

HVAC/R Technician - Stationary Engineer

HVAC/R Technician-Stationary Engineer needed for a temporary, possibly long term position. Experience in the preventive and corrective maintenance of commercial HVAC, plumbing, electrical and related systems equipment is preferred. The job opening is with a Government Contractor - Rosemark. The position will be at the USCG Training Facility in Petaluma, CA.
