This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a passion for developing and implementing innovative engineering solutions. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of mechanical engineering, including the use of AutoCAD, mechanical controls, hydraulics and pneumatics, manufacturing processes, CMMS, and preventative maintenance. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Mechanical Engineer, you will: 1. Design, develop, and enhance mechanical systems and processes using AutoCAD. 2. Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment used in the manufacturing process. 3. Conduct research and implement new design and manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 4. Utilize knowledge of mechanical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. 5. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs to ensure equipment is operating at optimal levels. 6. Use CMMS to schedule, track, and document maintenance activities. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project objectives and deadlines. 8. Ensure all mechanical engineering projects, initiatives, and processes are in conformance with the organization's established policies and objectives. 9. Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and other team members. Qualifications: To be considered for this role, you should have: 1. A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on mechanical engineering. 3. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software. 4. Extensive knowledge of mechanical controls, hydraulics, and pneumatics. 5. Experience with manufacturing processes and CMMS. 6. Proven experience in implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs. 7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machinery issues. 8. Strong communication and team collaboration skills. 9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 10. Professional Engineering (PE) certification is a plus. Electromechanical Technician - Nebraska & Colorado

Position Title: Electromechanical Technician Location: Scottsbluff, NE & Fort Morgan, CO Wage: $30.68-$45.04 hourly Position Overview: The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex automated systems and machinery located in the packaging and warehouse areas of the factory. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, and computer control systems. The technician will work with engineers and other technicians to ensure equipment operates efficiently, safely, and within specified tolerances. Essential Functions: • Live our Core Values of: Being a Safety Leader, Integrity, Openness & Trust, Teamwork, Entrepreneurship, and Social Responsibility. • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulatory requirements for handling electrical and mechanical equipment and ensure that systems operate within safe parameters. • Installation and Setup: Install and configure electromechanical systems and automated machinery, including sensors, actuators, valves, robotic arms, conveyor systems, and other automated equipment. • Machine Maintenance: Performs routine and preventive maintenance on packaging and warehouse equipment, such as conveyor belts, conveyor rollers, baggers, fillers, sealers, labelers, printers, sealers, and wrapping machines. Maintains and repairs piping, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, and any equipment moving raw product and finished goods. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faults in machinery, electrical systems, and control systems. Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues in hardware and software. • Programming and Calibration: Program and calibrate controllers, sensors, and actuators to ensure proper operation of automated systems. Modify machine code or control parameters as necessary. • System Upgrades: Assist with upgrades to existing systems to improve efficiency, integrate new technologies, and ensure compatibility with modern automation standards. • Documentation: Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and system upgrades. Maintain wiring diagrams, machine manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, production teams, and other technicians to address complex issues and ensure system uptime. Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and control systems is highly preferred.
