POSITION LOCATION: Fort Morgan, CO EMPLOYMENT SPECIFICS: Full Time Faculty (167 days Appointment) 1.0 FTE PURPOSE/SUMMARY OF JOB: The faculty member will be responsible for recruiting, teaching, advising and outreach to the communities served by MCC. Instructional content assignment will focus on the Industrial Electrical Mechanical fields. This position will provide instruction at various times as needed, primarily late afternoon, evening and weekend. The faculty member will be responsible for using teaching methods and media designed to reach students of varying educational and experiential backgrounds to allow each student the opportunity to master the outcomes/objectives of the course. The new faculty member will be dynamic, creative and committed to teaching excellence, and have a passion for continuous improvement and assessment of student learning. The faculty member will work with community stakeholders throughout the College's service area to keep the program relevant for industry needs. Teaching assignments include alternative delivery settings as well as evening and weekend offerings. Travel to MCC's Regional Centers for delivery of instructional content may be necessary. A commitment to experiential education to inspire student engagement and success is expected. For information about MCC, see the college web site: www.morgancc.edu REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Electrical or related field. • Work experience in the maintenance field with some understanding of process control and instrumentation. • Industry certification in electrical field. • Strong technology skills and experience in using the MSOffice suite. • Must meet qualifications to obtain a Colorado Career and Technical Education Credential (4000 hours of verifiable paid occupational experience in the electrical/mechanical field during last five years). • Must be willing and able to travel as required by position needs. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Electrical or related educational field. • Full- or part-time teaching experience at the college level. • Ability to deliver instruction via distance technologies. • Demonstrated success in working with students from diverse backgrounds. Anticipated Start Date: August 1, 2025 Salary and Benefits: $50,000 - $59,375, based on education, skills and experience. About Morgan Community College (MCC): MCC is one of 13 colleges comprising the Colorado Community College System (CCCS). MCC is located on I-76, 80 miles northeast of Denver and approximately 100 miles east of Rocky Mountain National Park.
