Mechanical Technician

Basic Function HF Sinclair Midstream is seeking a Mechanical Reliability Specialist. This position will be located in Cheyenne or Casper, WY, preferably Cheyenne. This position will be responsible for the tactical execution of the Rotating Equipment Reliability Program (RERP). Rotating equipment includes: pumps, drive systems and similary. Support of these systems includes opportunities to improve system performance and reliability. Job Duties (functions considered essential as defined by ADA) • Works primarily on pipeline equipment and pump stations • Able to perform competent visual inspections of centrifugal pumps, motors, and accompanying structural components • Perform monthly vibration routes • Responds to upsets and abnormal operating instances • Verifies compliance with DOT requirements • Able to perform field replacement of centrifugal pump mechanical seals • Able to perform coupling alignments for API 610 pumps • Able to perform key field inspections and clearance checks of API 610 centrifugal pump bearings and end float • Able to oversee pump installations by outside vendors and understand and perform key installation steps such as coupling alignment, pipe strain checks, end float checks, motor magnetic center checks, etc. • Have a basic understanding of centrifugal pump performance as it relates to the goals of RERP • Represents the company to third parties • Maintains, repairs, troubleshoots and installs rotating equipment, pumps and gear boxes. • Recommend and implement improvements and/or modification in sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters. • Responds to emergency situations • Analyzes data on related components and systems, processes and methods, to aid operations with decisions. • Upgrades, maintains and monitors related equipment and performance. Special assignments or tasks assigned to the employee by their supervisor, as determined from time to time in their sole and complete discretion Experience A minimum of 5 years job-related pipeline experience is required. Education Level A minimum of a High School Diploma and Vibration Analysis I Certification are required. PREFERRED EDUCATION: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Required Skills Working knowledge of the pipeline industry or related industry. Strong background in rotating equipment, pumps and gear boxes. An intermediate level of reading and writing ability and intermediate level ability to perform mathematical calculation is required. Must be able to effectively communicate with. Work Conditions Office and field/refinery based with up to 25% travel by land and air required. Petroleum refinery, warehouse and plant environment, out-of-doors, and driver environments, including but not limited to chemicals, pressure vessels, tanks, rotating equipment, and exposure to the risk of electrical shock. Mechanical Design Engineer

Westerman, an employee-owned company, is a multiple site manufacturer of production and storage equipment within the oil, gas, and nuclear industries. Our equipment helps optimize well pad design, improve separation efficiency and lower overall equipment spend through high-performance surface separation and processing technology. Our equipment is setting new standards for performance and economics nationwide. Summary The Design Engineer will provide engineering design, project engineering management, technical support, and leadership to manage capital and major maintenance projects including gas processing and treating, compression and dehydration, condensate stabilization, and metering. The Engineer will be recognized as a technical specialist by the division having in-depth knowledge of engineering process and/or technical aspects of the oil and gas industry. This person will partner with team of designers and will be a part of budgeting for gas processing equipment. • *THIS POSITION IS LOCATED AT OUR J.W. WILLIAMS FACILITY IN CASPER, WY AND IS FULLY ON-SITE. Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering required. • Minimum of 2 years previous design engineering experience in a related industry required. • Must understand details of oil and gas processes and processing equipment. • Prior knowledge of Oil and Gas Process software such as ProMax and Compress required. • Professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills required. • Strong business acumen and analytical skills required. • Ability to complete work assignments with minimal supervision required. • Proven ability to work with multiple internal and external stakeholders to accomplish project goals on time required. • Self-starter; able to manage multiple tasks/projects/initiatives successfully required. • Must work with a sense of urgency and ownership. Join Our Team as an Engineering Technician! The City of Casper is looking for a detail-oriented, motivated Engineering Technician to support a variety of municipal infrastructure and construction projects. In this role, you’ll coordinate field work, perform construction inspections, create and update technical drawings and maps, and assist with survey and utility verification using GPS/GIS tools. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, contractors, and the public while contributing to projects that directly impact our community. Prepares complex drawings from engineering sketches, survey field notes, and other data for use in the design and construction of a variety of projects including water and wastewater lines, streets, and storm drains. 10. Prepares a variety of illustrations, certificates, visual aids for various meetings and presentations. 11. Represents the City of Casper by responding to the public, citizens, its employees, and others in a prompt, professional, and courteous manner while continuously maintaining a positive customer service demeanor. 12.
