Barnes Aerospace Ogden, UT Division is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. We are looking for a self-starting, self-motivated candidate who can help drive process improvements and productivity on the shop floor. Core Responsibilities • Supports production milling, turning, and grinding processes. • Support cell leads with process troubleshooting. • Drives material review process when defects occur with a mindset of preventing re-occurrence. • Evaluates program cycle time against estimates and standards to assure cost targets are met. • Work with lab engineers, process engineers and machine operators to ensure manufacture of parts meeting all technical and quality requirements. • Has a good working knowledge of GD&T. • Assists machinists with set up, part, and inspection questions. • Creates set up instructions. • Assists in the evaluation and development of manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment. • Analyzes and solves process and tool-related problems, ensuring or increasing productivity. • Performs all work in a manner that ensures safety of self and others. • Leverages continuous improvement tools to drive improvements. Qualifications • Minimum 5+ years of multi-axis milling, turning, and grinding process experience (aerospace preferred). • Lean manufacturing experience. • Proven track record of scheduling and organizing people and time effectively in order to complete assigned functions. • Proficient at reading, analyzing and interpreting customer drawings, specifications, procedures and standards. • Proficient with computer systems and basic software, experience with CAD. Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

About the role: As a Sr Mechanical Engineer, you will provide mechanical engineering support at a manufacturing and chemical process facility for equipment and systems for use in commercial nuclear power industry following established practices. You will report to the Sr Manager, Engineering and be located at Ogden, UT. Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct, daily technical engineering support for manufacturing and chemical operations and maintenance. • Assume lead technical responsibility for design and implementation of new or modified systems. This includes specification of new processes and equipment designs, as well as, overseeing and coordinating installation, fabrication, testing and qualification of new equipment or processes. Ensure compliance to safety and regulatory requirements. • Apply engineering to identify causes of failures in systems and recommended resolutions. • Perform engineering calculations to support equipment and process designs including Finite Element Analyses using ANSYS or other similar software tools. • Assume a project leadership role in developing and coordinating efforts of capital projects including coordination across multiple departments. Develop project charters, management plans, schedules, WBS, risk management plans and project budgets. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar • Proficient in Autodesk and ANSYS, preferred. • Working knowledge of ASME codes • Demonstrated experience in leadership of projects from design through commissioning including scope development, schedule development, budget development and monitoring to meet target goals. Senior Design Engineer

The Design Engineer will manage the company product drawing, and product/ material specification process including: Review, validation, and approval of current Customer and Supplier product drawings and new product drawings. Responsibilities: • Modify and update current product drawings to ensure accuracy of specifications including overall drawing to drawing design requirements and consistency, validation of material requirements, dimensions, and tolerances. • Validation and recommendations for Ohms, Watts, and Amps requirements. • Inspecting and sampling products to ensure quality standards are met, and support (NPI) new product introduction. • Visit customer facilities for design consideration on custom projects. • Work with Ownership on new patentable product offerings. • Position is Work in Office (Ogden, UT). Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Minimum 5+ years of Design or Development Engineering experience. Proficiency in working with CAD and 3D Imagining Software. Ability to travel up to 10%. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with Aerospace or Automotive industries preferred. • Experience with International Contract Manufacturing and Engineering. • Ability to visualize and create new models for product approval. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment. • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals. • Project Management experience is a bonus. • Mandarin or Thai fluency is a Big Plus
