Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including: • Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plans • Holiday Pay • Full time hours • Long term opportunities • Competitive pay • Great team of Maintenance Mechanics • Overtime opportunities available Maintenance Mechanic, Production Details: • Temp-to-Hire position • $26.63 to $27.88 /hour • Full Time work available • Weekend work required • First Shift (Friday through Sunday from 05:00am to 05:00pm) • Maintain organization's production equipment • Perform electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in response to equipment errors or failures • Repairs/maintains, following diagrams, manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as die cutters, sheet-fed presses, inserting machines, conveyor systems, bindery equipment etc. using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments • Repair or reproduce parts using welders or machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses Maintenance Mechanic, Production Qualifications: • 5+ yrs experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, testing, maintaining complex equipment • Precise adjustments for alignment, parallelism, concentricity effects of malfunctions throughout the entire machine • Perform precise measurements of air and fluid pressure, flow, and knowledge of the mechanisms used to convert such readings into measurable units • Interpret complex multiview drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, manufacturers' specifications, and other technical material to isolate, malfunctions hydraulic pumps and motors, mechanical clamping devices, and electric or hydraulic axis drive and positioning systems • Knowledge of geometry, shop mathematics, dimensions and to calculate angles, clearances, pressure, flow, other parameters • Applicant may be subject to a background check • Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment • A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
