Mechanical Technician

Your tasks • Conducts conveyor systems setup/review, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance services. • Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of customer conveyor systems and performs scheduled maintenance repairs to same. • Demonstrates/performs mechanical skills including but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting. • Reads and interprets equipment manuals, blue prints and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. • Complies with all government regulatory requirements, including but not limited to OSHA, MSHA and DOT. • Maintains inventory of conveyor related parts, tools and necessary equipment. • Manages time, equipment and material needed for all mechanical projects. • Observes conveyor operations to detect defects or conveyor malfunction. • Measures conveyor dimensions to determine accuracy of conveyor operation, to include feet and tons per minute. • Operates any equipment needed to perform job. • Performs other duties as assigned by management and/or as needed. Your profile Preferred Qualifications • Maintains inventory of conveyor related parts, tools and necessary equipment. • Manages time, equipment and material needed for all mechanical projects. • Knowledge of blueprint reading and overall knowledge of customers’ conveyor systems. • Observes conveyor operations to detect defects or conveyor malfunction. Mission: The Design Engineer will primarily lead and coordinate the design activities linked to new product development design projects, as well as continuous improvement and support of existing products. Primary Responsibilities: • * Lead, organize and coordinate the project team during all project phases, following the Concept-to-Product procedures.
