What you bring to the table: • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related discipline) from an accredited institution. • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and/or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred. • 0–7 years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in water or wastewater infrastructure. • Foundational understanding or a strong interest in learning mechanical systems design (e.g., pumps, piping, HVAC, process systems). • Familiarity with applicable standards and codes such as IMC, IBC, IECC, ASHRAE, ASME, SMACNA, AWWA, and NFPA. • Experience with or willingness to learn CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and mechanical analysis software. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. • Initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Willingness to travel to project sites and support work beyond standard office hours when necessary.
