Your daily impact: • Support the design and analysis of mechanical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and other related infrastructure. • Conduct engineering calculations, including pump sizing, hydraulic modeling, thermal performance analysis, and air/gas system design. • Prepare technical documentation such as mechanical plans, specifications, and design reports. • Design mechanical building systems, including HVAC, gas, plumbing, fire suppression, and air conveyance. • Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and integrated project delivery. • Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, and assist with field inspections to verify compliance with design standards and codes. • Incorporate energy-efficient solutions into mechanical system planning and participate in permit application processes as needed. What you bring to the table: • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related discipline) from an accredited institution. • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and/or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license preferred. • 0–7 years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in water or wastewater infrastructure. • Foundational understanding or a strong interest in learning mechanical systems design (e.g., pumps, piping, HVAC, process systems). • Familiarity with applicable standards and codes such as IMC, IBC, IECC, ASHRAE, ASME, SMACNA, AWWA, and NFPA. • Experience with or willingness to learn CAD tools (AutoCAD, Revit) and mechanical analysis software. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. • Initiative and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • Willingness to travel to project sites and support work beyond standard office hours when necessary. Sr Mechanical Design Engineer

ADI has an immediate position for a Mechanical Engineer Level II in order to deliver world class consumer grade multimedia products from concept to full scale production. This position requires a well-rounded versatile individual with a broad range of experiences spanning industrial design, conceptual prototyping for proof of concept, 3D modeling, drafting and design. This position will require excellent communication and teamwork skills JOB DUTIES: • Assist in the concept, feasibility and specification of electromechanical product design. • Create renderings and rapid prototype models of conceptual designs. • Create part and assembly models of all components for a given product. • Simulate full assembly for fit and provide detailed locations to other team members for cross functional design elements. • Simulate and evaluate parts and assemblies for thermal, vibration and structural analysis. • Ensure part and assembly designs meet specification for compliance for safety and project goals. • Interface with other team members to help coordinate design effort for milestone and project completion. • Fully document all design parameters and prepare all material for PLM, tool and part fabrication and assembly. • Maintain full product line for all change requests during the product live. YOU MUST HAVE: • 5+ years of practicing as a mechanical engineer. • Experience with design processes and techniques associated with delivering electromechanical products and system from concept to full-scale production. • Experience designing sheet metal enclosures, troubleshooting tooling and finishing • Experience designing electro mechanical products • Candidate must have fluent knowledge of techniques and processes needed to qualify products through both safety and regulatory routines. • Candidate should have experience interacting and working within a broad design engineering team including mechanical, imbedded system, manufacturing, and test and quality engineers. • Candidate must be fluent with SolidWorks Standard • Candidate must be able and willing to do some international travel as needed.
