WHO YOU ARE As the Mechanical Specialist /HVAC, you will perform all industrial mechanical and basic electrical repairs to production equipment and systems following all code and safety requirements, under the direction of maintenance supervision and/or management. Needs HVAC and plumbing experience. Repair and replace HVAC units including gas recovery certification. Maintain and repair plumbing, lawn sprinklers, natural gas burners, compressed air and all cooling water systems. WHERE YOU WILL WORK First Shift - 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. In our ClosetMaid Ocala facility. A 600,000 square feet manufacturing and distribution facility. WHAT YOU WILL DO Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary. • Perform preventative and predictive service and investigation on production equipment and support systems. • Perform mechanical repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments required to service and maintain production equipment and systems; up to but not including adjustments or repairs to computerized controls and components. • Must be able to set up and operate any equipment that requires basic electrical adjustments or repairs. • Perform all duties in a professional, timely, and safe manner. • Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.
