Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to spearhead innovative mechanical design and engineering projects across the energy industry involving Gas Compressor Sites, M&R Stations, Pipeline Design Projects, Power Facilities, and other various types of energy projects. Duties • Lead the mechanical engineering team in designing, analyzing, and developing complex mechanical systems using CAD tools such as SolidWorks and Creo. • Develop Pipeline Modeling for various sized pipeline projects • Develop detailed schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams in accordance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards and ASME codes & standards. • Review schematics, CAD models, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements. • Mentor junior engineers, fostering innovation, best practices in mechanical design, and adherence to safety standards. • Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus. • Proven experience leading mechanical engineering projects with a focus on system design, manufacturing support, and project management. • Strong proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks and Creo for detailed mechanical modeling and drafting. • Extensive knowledge of GD&T principles, ASME codes & standards (including pressure vessels, piping), and mechanical design best practices. • Skilled in project scheduling methodologies to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently. • Ability to perform root cause analysis on complex mechanical issues using systematic troubleshooting techniques. • Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration; strong leadership qualities for guiding teams through technical challenges.
