You’ll play a hands-on role in designing and launching innovative medical products using SolidWorks and the Design Thinking methodology—delivering solutions that meet real-world clinical needs. What You’ll Do • Design new medical products using SolidWorks guided by Design Thinking principles. • Translate customer and market requirements into intuitive, manufacturable, and user-friendly products. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain) throughout the product development cycle. • Design for manufacturability, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness in compliance with FDA and IEC 60601 standards. • Develop and execute testing protocols to ensure product performance and reliability. • Guide pre-production runs and support the smooth handoff to manufacturing, including layout of assembly processes. • Make material and component decisions, including make vs. buy evaluations, vendor selection, and tooling coordination. • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously—from concept through to production launch.
