Shift Hours Work hours are generally 7am-4pm, Mon-Friday, in-person at our main plant in Johnstown, PA. Job Description JWF Industries is a growing metal manufacturing company, continuing to expand into defense & other markets with long-term work. We are seeking Mechanical Engineers to join our in-person team of professionals in Johnstown, PA. These are important corporate support roles, working closely with all levels of management, as well as the shop floor, that includes 1,000,000+ square feet of metal manufacturing space. Essential Duties Review project documentation for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer requirements, and related specifications. Work requires a firm understanding of configuration management and structured Bills of Materials (Engineering BOMs and Manufacturing BOMs). Education Level Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience • Ability to read/analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for fabrications and assemblies • Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD (Autodesk Inventor is preferred) • Ability to create work-cell layouts and material flow diagrams • Proficient use of Microsoft Office products • Project Management experience is a plus; ERP system experience is a plus Physical Demands While performing the duties of the job, the individual is required to have the ability to concentrate and perform responsibilities by maintaining a constant state of focus and mental alertness. The individual is regularly required to stand, use hands (including gripping & grasping) and reach with arms. The individual is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk or hear. The individual will frequently walk. The individual must occasionally lift and/ or move up to 20 lbs. Mechanical Testing Technician

Mechanical Testing Technician Concurrent Technologies Corporation Johnstown, PA Minimum Clearance Required: None Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: None Employee Background Check Required Key Responsibilities • Perform mechanical testing and inspection of samples in accordance with established procedures, including equipment setup, visual and dimensional inspection, and reporting of results. • Prepare test samples, including cutting, machining, and surface preparation, as required by testing protocols. • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory tools, instruments, and equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. • Conduct routine cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instruments. • Analyze and document test results, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory and quality system requirements. • Utilize work order systems to log equipment usage, report data results, and track inventory. • Perform general laboratory housekeeping duties, including cleaning, inventory management, and ordering of materials and consumables. • Follow established safety procedures to minimize occupational hazards and ensure a safe working environment. • Communicate effectively with colleagues and maintain professional working relationships. • Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate or as requested by management. Basic Qualifications: • High school diploma required or certificate from technical school with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience. • Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic electronic equipment. • Proficiency in using hand measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments. • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Windows-based operating systems, file structures, and Microsoft Excel. • Ability to read, understand, and follow operating instructions and manuals for electro-mechanical equipment. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. • Reliable, cooperative, and willing to learn, with a strong work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: • Previous experience in a mechanical testing or metallographic testing facility. • Experience working with low-voltage electronic devices, sensors, and wiring. • Experience maintaining and repairing fluid systems (pneumatic, water, hydraulic). • Knowledge of mechanical testing procedures, sample preparation techniques, and data analysis. • Familiarity with occupational hazards and safety precautions in a laboratory environment. Physical and Mental Demands: • Regularly or frequently talking, hearing, touching, grasping, standing, walking, reaching with hands/arms and performing repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement. • Light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force. • Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less, three-dimensional vision, ability to identify and distinguish colors, and ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus to review test results. Work Environment: • This position is in a climate-controlled environment and is safety and security sensitive. • Moderate noise level. • Works near moving mechanical parts. • Occasionally works with and around hazardous chemicals. • This position is safety sensitive.
