Operating Room Technician We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Technician to join our medical staff. This key member of our surgical team will be responsible for preparing the operating room for procedures and providing technical support during surgeries. Responsibilities • Prepares operating room for surgery by setting up equipment, sterile supplies, and ensuring a clean and safe environment • Assists surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, providing technical support as needed • Monitors patients' vital signs and reports any changes or concerns to the medical team • Lifts, positions, pushes, and transfers patients safely and efficiently Qualifications • Post-high school vocational education and specialized training in operating room technology • On-the-job training and experience in a hospital or healthcare setting • CPR certification and completion of required course(s)/training Working Conditions As an Operating Room Technician, you will be exposed to various working conditions, including: • Prolonged standing and walking • Exposure to hazardous substances, such as body fluids and waste • Risk of Bloodborne diseases and other infectious agents
