Groundperson Job Description The groundperson is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our team. They play a vital role in maintaining equipment and materials, gathering and feeding brush & debris into a woodchipper, and scanning areas for trip and fall hazards. Key Responsibilities: • Operate chainsaw to cut brush, logs, and stumps of larger trees. • Drag, gather, and feed brush into wood chipper. • Service vehicles and equipment, maintaining them in neat, clean, and specified mechanical order. Requirements: • Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience is a plus. Physical Demands: • Standing, walking, manual dexterity, seeing distant, reading, range of motion, hearing-speech range, depth perception, climbing stairs, lifting up to 10 lbs. Job Title: Service Technician About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused technician to join our team at Commercial Tire. Key Responsibilities: • Tire and Vehicle Services: Inspect and diagnose service and tire problems in customer vehicles, communicating necessary repairs and/or replacement of parts, recommending additional preventative services, and selling services as needed. • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by staying in touch with existing accounts, immediately following up on issues, and resolving them in a timely manner. • Administrative Tasks: Take on call and after-hours calls, completing service orders, processing tickets, invoices, and bills, verifying credit status, making billing adjustments, initiating purchase orders for parts, and maintaining records/files for follow-up. • Maintenance and Equipment: Operate air compressors, impact guns, hub-cap hammers, and other various machines and tools, while ensuring vehicle cleanliness and mechanical maintenance, and keeping vehicle registration, insurance, safety, and OSHA materials and devices up-to-date. • Fleet Maintenance: Perform tire work, including retail and commercial, on-site and off-site, mounting and dismounting, air pressure checks, and repairs (fleet checks), ensuring lug nuts are tightened to the proper torque specifications. • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct fleet inspections, properly document them, and complete all other duties assigned. Requirements: • Demonstrate ability to conform to DOT driving requirements and company policies within six months. • Complete TIA training and other requirements, demonstrating Commercial Tire Technician requirements. • Submit fuel receipts weekly to accounting for processing. • Hold a valid driver's license and insurable driving record. • Meet DOT driving requirements.
