Mechanical Engineer - St. Paul, VA

Basic Purpose The Manufacturing Engineer will be required to work closely with Product Design Engineering, Project Management, and Manufacturing and will be responsible for creating fabrication drawings and machine programming using 3D CAD packages such as SolidWorks, as well as implementing improved methods of fabrication. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline; 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. • Strong knowledge of CAD modeling, drawings and machine design with experience in design analyses. Experience with SolidWorks is a plus. • Good understanding of manufacturing processes. Experience with CAM software is a plus. • Hands on experience with automated manufacturing equipment is desired.
