Mechanical Engineer (Design)

A rapidly growing market leader in the design and manufacture of cutting-edge industrial systems and equipment seeks to hire a Mechanical Design/Product Development Engineer due to their continued growth. Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, this newly created position will join a large team and support product design, new product introduction (NPI), and manufacturing development. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity. Primary Responsibilities: • Crate and/or modify 2D and 3D drawings, layouts, and models that support new and re-engineered products. • Develop manufacturing plans for new products including bills of material (BOM) and routings. • Coordinate change management processes via PLM software (Windchill). • Support QC, standardization, and cost reduction efforts where applicable. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or closely related field) required. • 2+ years of product development experience within industrial manufacturing environment(s). • High proficiency with 2D and 3D design and associated CAD platforms (Catie, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CREO, etc.) Our client is a privately held organization with a collaborative and high-energy culture that offers a highly competitive portfolio of retirement and insurance benefits.
