Key Success Factors: • Communicate all performance expectations including safe work practices to all melt personnel. • Drive webpage initiatives in melt areas. • Provide consistent and timely performance feedback to employees throughout the melting operation. • Solicit feedback from plant personnel on opportunities to improve processes (yields, procedures, methods, etc.). • Continuously monitor & revise melt area ISO documents as required. • Effectively integrate with the other crew leaders to deliver casting production and quality objectives. • Ability to work with engineers / metallurgists to execute trials and implement improvements. Experience/Education Required/Sought: • BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. • Proven leadership and organizational ability. • Advanced user in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. • 5 years related experience in manufacturing. • Must have Metallurgist background. • Must have previously worked closely with R&D, Quality, Procurement, and other relevant departments. • Due to ITAR requirements, must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder/Permanent US Resident, and able to provide proof initially.
