Mechanical Engineer Level I

Purpose: You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its clients at the Billings, Montana office, and may also provide technical support and guidance within the mechanical engineering team. Responsibilities: • Deliver mechanical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget. • Perform mechanical engineering services such as: • identify and report changes to project scope; • assist with the preparation of proposals, estimates, budgets and schedules; • provide assistance during procurement, construction and commissioning activities. For example, write requisitions, conduct technical bid evaluations and write purchase orders; • contribute to appropriate studies, analyses and recommend actions; • assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports. • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and technical innovations in mechanical engineering. • If required, assist and support junior personnel within the mechanical engineering team. • Communicate effectively with the mechanical engineering team and project stakeholders, including the customer. • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions, and ask for assistance when required. What you will bring Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: • 3 plus years' experience in oil and gas industry. • Experience in software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific software, ETAP, PSCAD, SPL. • Effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers. • A good working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of mechanical engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. • A good working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications. • Competent use of mechanical engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite. • Engineering experience in the same or similar industry, and developing leadership skills. • Some job site or factory experience. Education - Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: • A recognized BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent. Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Summary: This role supports the development and design of a variety of equipment, components, systems, and data for refineries, chemical plants, renewable and clean energy facilities. Under supervision, performs a variety of assignments through the application of basic engineering theories, techniques, and practices. In development mode being trained in the utilization of relevant regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices for the control, development, and application of deliverables while gaining exposure to procedures and processes. Purpose: You will provide mechanical engineering services to Worley and its clients at the Billings Montana office and may also provide technical support and guidance within the mechanical engineering team. Responsibilities: • Perform job responsibilities in Mechanical Engineering department under the direction of the Project Lead or a Senior Mechanical Engineer. • Supports the development of deliverables for the procurement of Rotating, Static and Material Handling equipment. • Will be required to support the material engineering and design of specific equipment needs. • Understands or is willing to learn to interpret facility schematic drawings such as PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment layouts. • Will be required to learn specific software's for the engineering and design of equipment. • Supports the preparation of material and minor equipment specifications. • Supports the preparation of minor equipment requisition packages for inquiry and purchase. • Keen safety awareness. • Able to perform job walks wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in an operating facility, this may require ability to acquire govt. issued TWIC identification. What you will bring Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: • May have Vacation Student/ Internship experience in an engineering environment. • Technical and practical engineering skills. • Knowledge of the fundamental requirements of engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields. • Developing skills in engineering specific software. • Some skills in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite. Can navigate intranet pages, conduct searches, and retrieve information. Preferred: • Interest in Oil, Gas, and Refinery. Mechanical Planner

Planners must be able to walk down all jobs for scoping and planning including climbing stairs and ladders to heights of 150 feet. Planners must be able to plan and estimate multiple craft disciplines including paint, scaffolding, insulation, pipefitting, boiler making, welding, rigging, QA/QC and Inspection. Planners must be able to develop detailed job plans in a database with a Bill of materials. Planners must be able to build document files for specifications, P&IDs, blueprints, drawings, Inspection Test Plans, Travelers, Picture Presentations, step outs, BOMs, lift plans, etc. and place them in the proper folder. Planners must be able to order material using SAP requisitions and reservations. Planners must be able to monitor backlog of work needing to be planned. Planners must be able to assist with tracking, kitting and expediting material as needed. Planners must be able to assist with development and refining of the Primavera P6 Schedule. Planners must be able to build plans using the methodology of producing a Turnaround Schedule with all phases including Pre TA work, Decommissioning, TA Scope, Commissioning and Post TA scope. Planners must be able to work closely with all disciplines to develop the most efficient job plans, packages and schedule possible. Planners must work closely with Site Logistics Specialist to develop quality Plot Plans, Safety Equipment, Rigging, Specialty Tooling and Rental Equipment Lists. All Planners should be able to transition to the FEC (Field Execution Coordinator) roll for TA Execution window and follow designated scopes of work safely and efficiently during the TA. Planners must be able to safely and efficiently operate a digital camera or Tablet to capture pictures and build presentations for job plans. Planners need to be proficient with Tablets to plan and execute Turnarounds from the field using industrial WiFi. Planner should be able to read & comprehend P&IDs, Equipment Drawings, Isometric Sketches, Procedures, Inspection Test Plans, Inspection Maintenance Plans, Blueprint Files, & Mechanical • IPS experience is a plus*
