Mechanical Design Engineer

Specific Role: We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer n to join our Engineering team at EMIT Technologies. In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to support the design, documentation, and production of gas compression control panel units. You'll gain exposure to both electrical and mechanical systems, helping bring ideas from concept to reality while learning EMIT's approach to quality, precision, and innovation. Key Accountabilities: • Assist with creating and updating control panel drawings, wiring files, and configuration item numbers • Collaborate with the Engineering team to refine product designs and improve manufacturing processes • Support the maintenance of accurate BOMs, part lists, and models for production use • Help create and update harness models, mechanical assemblies, and control panel documentation • Support production teams by providing technical information and helping resolve design-related questions • Work with engineers and purchasing to identify alternative components when needed • Participate in troubleshooting and testing activities to verify design intent and functionality • Maintain organized documentation and ensure revisions are clearly tracked Qualifications: • Degree in mechanical, electro-mechanical, electrical, or engineering or related field • Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a plus • Basic understanding of electrical schematics and mechanical assemblies • Interest in industrial equipment, control panels, or manufacturing systems • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn new tools and processes • Team-oriented with good communication and collaboration skills • Organized and proactive approach to problem-solving We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome candidates from all backgrounds.

Mechanical Specialist

The Mechanic Specialist position can be based out of Kinder Morgan’s Sheridan Booster Station in Sheridan, TX, Victoria Compressor Station in Victoria, TX, or our Jackson location in Edna, TX depending on a candidate’s location. Kinder Morgan is one of the largest energy infrastructure companies in North America. We own an interest in or operate approximately 84,000 miles of pipelines and 157 terminals. This is a great opportunity if you have experience performing maintenance and overhauls on compressors, reciprocating engines, turbines, pumps, and extruders from various manufacturers including Caterpillar, Ingersoll Rand, Clark Cooper Bessemer, and Solar or if you have similar experience working in Refinery, Manufacturing, Railroad or Pipeline industries or while serving our country in the Military. Primary Purpose: • Repair and maintain mechanical equipment and/or auxiliary equipment. • Perform heavy mechanical maintenance and replacement of reciprocating and turbine engines and compressors, including prime movers and auxiliary units. • This position reports to a Crew Leader to ensure consistency in maintenance practices and detailed computer documentation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • These duties include assessing the condition of engine and compressor components as well as performing the required maintenance based on company standards and original manufacturer's specifications. • Identify, report, and assist in correcting safety and environmental concerns. • Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork timely and accurately. • Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory and tariff requirements. • Demonstrate performance toward operational excellence. • Maintain a regular, dependable attendance, and high level of performance. • Maintain a high regard for personal safety, the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public. • Overtime may be required and is anticipated. • Required to carry a company-provided cell phone and be available to respond during working and non-working hours. • This position requires the individual to follow all safety policies so that tasks and assignments are completed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, with an emphasis on finishing each day injury and incident free. Design Engineer

Britz and Co. is seeking a dynamic, passionate and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our team! The Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and enhancement of metal carpentry assemblies, specifically tailored to the biomedical research and animal care industry.
