Metal Stamping Engineer We are seeking a skilled and motivated Metal Stamping Engineer to join our team. This individual will possess comprehensive knowledge of metal stamping processes, dies, blueprints, and stamping equipment. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose and repair defects in stamping machines and related equipment. • Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance production efficiency and reduce downtime. • Collaborate with tooling and quality teams to design and implement more efficient tooling solutions. • Create and update engineering drawings and documentation to support process improvement and quality standards. • Lead and support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement projects. • Develop and standardize work instructions, setup procedures, and preventative maintenance documentation. • Interpret and apply information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure proper handling and storage of oils and chemicals. • Drive first-run capability improvements and support efforts to minimize equipment downtime. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in die stamping or die design. • Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably within the metal stamping industry. • Experience in machine and tool design improvements focused on safety, efficiency, and product quality. • Familiarity with CAD software; Autodesk Inventor experience is preferred. • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and schematics. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. • Knowledge of production and quality control procedures used in a manufacturing environment. • Capable of managing schedules and budgets related to new tooling and process improvements. • Experience with visual management systems and standardizing technician work methods. Job Title: Manufacturing/Production Engineer Client is unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future. Job Description As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will collaborate with project management to support installations, new launches, and special or capital projects. You will be working in the Electric Motors Department and will be responsible for executing engineering strategies and new product launches. You will also develop priorities and objectives in cooperation with each site management team and oversee their implementation, ensuring continuous improvements throughout the plant. The role requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Expect to work 40-50 hours per week to support new product launches, with up to 5% domestic and international travel as needed. The plant is large, and walking 10,000+ steps per day is common. Steel-toed boots are mandatory on the manufacturing floor. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $40.87/hr.
