The primary objective of this role is to provide technical support and maintenance services for equipment and machinery at our project site. The Field Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally, identifying potential issues, and implementing solutions to prevent downtime. Some of the key responsibilities include: • Fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic, mechanical, and other types of components and equipment. • Researching, evaluating, and developing solutions to problems. • Performing regular maintenance of different types of equipment and infrastructure. • Supporting multiple motion control systems, automated inspection systems, automated mailing systems, Class IV lasers, and other production equipment. • Collaborating with onsite engineers to install new equipment or implement modifications requested by customers. • Testing equipment and systems to ensure they meet compliance standards. • Reporting findings and providing solutions for any issues that may hinder progress. In addition to these responsibilities, the Field Technician will also be required to conduct thorough follow-up assessments and checkups of equipment and make recommendations where applicable. They will assist with all preventative maintenance and maintain any required documentation.
